MSK Impact testing - looks for genomic mutations in a patient’s tumor and attempts to match them to appropriate treatment options
A research study looking at circulating tumor cells and correlation to patient imaging studies to better understand a patients response to treatment and risk of recurrence. Link to publication found here
CAR-T therapy - education of fellows and attending physicians to learn and understand how to utilize CAR-T therapy in solid tumors like kidney cancer

Education and Engagement
Annual kidney cancer survivor day - for current and former patients and their support systems, this day brings the latest education and information about kidney cancer directly from physicians to patients
Kidney Cancer Support Group - established by the Cancer Support Community Greater Lehigh Valley (not currently ongoing)
Kidney Cancer Half Day Retreats – included educational resources, inspirational stories, break-out sessions divided by survivors and caregivers, with a focus on healthy lifestyle activities (e.g. gentle movement, nutrition, meditative practices, art therapy).

Advocacy
Kidney Cancer Nurse Navigator - follows and supports patients through their cancer journey as an expert in kidney cancer. Serves as an advocate for patients through all parts of the care continuum in collaboration with their multidisciplinary team
KidneyCAN Advocacy – While no donated dollars needed to be used, we have expanded our advocacy pillar by partnering with kidneyCAN, a nonprofit that petitions congress to include kidney cancer research funding in the national budget.
Biden Cancer Foundation Community Summit – Streamed right from Washington this day brought attention made to the progress of the Cancer Moonshot initiative. Both patients and healthcare professionals attended, creating a forum to learn more about oncology advocacy and answered questions on how to work better together.
